Dear Parishioners,
I hope and pray that this letter finds you and your family doing well. This time I write to you to make aware of what is going on in our parish. Evangelization, outreach, and service to our parish and community will always be the absolute priority of our Parish and finances always play an important role in making this mission possible. We rely on your weekly offerings and generous gifts to serve you, our community and those most in need. God has been kind to us despite the presence of the pandemic and has blessed our community with some generous people whose contributions have helped us continue to operate up to this date. Unfortunately, we have reached a point where we cannot continue to serve our parishioners within our financial limitations. So, starting this coming Monday 17th and every Monday thereafter, the church and church offices will be closed all day and there is no 12pm or 1pm Masses. We will continue to be available for our community Tuesday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. This decision will not only affect our parish community, it also means that our Staff will have reduced hours to reflect the closure, as well.
While this measure will not solve our problems, it will help alleviate some of our financial obligations. BUT WE NEED YOUR FINANCIAL HELP! We ask that you, if possible, make and continue to make weekly offerings to help the parish. This can be done either online in our website, via mail or in person. We depend on your generosity to keep our parish open and to keep serving our Little Flower Community.
We will continue to serve our parish and community as best as we can. Please continue praying for our parish, and for the end of this pandemic that we can all be together again in our beloved Little Flower parish.
With love and prayers in Christ,
Rev. Jorge Herrera
